This watchOS application is a useful tool for Pickleball referees, offering a variety of timers tailored to common time intervals used during matches. By selecting a specific time interval from the list, the app initiates a countdown timer for the duration of that event. Upon timer completion, an alert or haptic feedback notifies the referee, seamlessly transitioning back to the main list.

The provided time intervals cater to different phases of the game, such as a 15-second warning, 1-minute time-out, 2 minutes between games, 5/6/8 minutes preparation time before a match, and specific durations for new matches or medical time-outs. Notably, timers for 1 minute, 2 minutes, and 5/6/8 minutes include alerts when there are only 15 seconds remaining, while the 10 and 15-minute timers alert with 1 minute left.

Referees have the flexibility to manually stop a timer using the "Stop" button, indicating an early end of the time interval without the need for resetting. Additionally, tournament directors can customize the pre-match time interval by pressing and holding any list item for 3-4 seconds, enabling selection between 5, 6, or 8 minutes to align with their preferences. The chosen time option will be retained for the tournament's duration.

It's important to note that during an active countdown timer, avoiding tapping the watch crown is recommended to prevent inadvertently shifting the app to the background and missing alerts. For uninterrupted use of the Pickleball Referee Timer application, ensuring adequate watch battery levels is advised.
